Position Overview
The Property Administrator will play a critical role in the day-to-day operations of our properties. This position requires an organized and detail-oriented individual who can manage numerous tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional demeanor. This is a full-time position situated in our Atlanta office, with occasional site visits to various properties.
Property Admin Job Description
The Property Administrator’s responsibilities include the management of administrative tasks associated with property management, tenant relations, and leasing activities. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a customer-centric attitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily administrative tasks related to property management.
- Assist in the preparation and execution of lease agreements.
- Maintain accurate records of property information, including tenant files, lease documents, and maintenance requests.
- Handle tenant inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring tenant satisfaction.
- Coordinate property inspections and routine maintenance schedules.
- Assist the Property Manager in various administrative duties, including budgeting and financial reporting.
- Prepare and distribute property-related communications and newsletters to tenants.
- Support marketing efforts for vacant units, including online listings and open houses.
- Ensure compliance with local housing regulations and laws.
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with tenants, vendors, and contractors.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in property management or real estate administration.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and property management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Knowledge of local property laws and compliance regulations is a plus.
