Position Overview

The role of a Centerless Grinding Operator is critical in ensuring that our operations run smoothly. As a part of our production team, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of centerless grinding machines to achieve specified tolerances and finish requirements on metal parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinding machines, including adjusting the machine settings as necessary.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and make adjustments to optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with machinery, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to improve production processes.
• Document production output, quality control data, and any maintenance performed on machines.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the centerless grinding operator job will possess the following qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machining or manufacturing preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience operating centerless grinding machines.
• Strong understanding of grinding principles, machining processes, and tooling.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
