Position Overview

As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will evaluate and treat patients experiencing speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based practices and a passion for helping clients achieve their communication goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients with diverse communication needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and client goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions tailored to specific speech and language deficits.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including educators, psychologists, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in speech-language pathology is desirable.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret assessment findings.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with diverse populations.
• Up-to-date knowledge of best practices in speech and language therapy.
