Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, offering assistance and guidance as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, ensuring all products are well-stocked and displayed attractively.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit, and debit payments.
• Provide advice on products, answering customer inquiries and addressing potential concerns.
• Assist with store promotions and special events, actively engaging customers to enhance their shopping experience.
• Support the replenishment of stock shelves as required, collaborating with team members to ensure inventory levels are maintained.
• Resolve customer complaints or issues professionally and calmly, working towards satisfactory solutions.
• Engage in team meetings regularly to discuss performance metrics, share ideas, and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

To thrive in the position of a coop customer assistant, candidates should possess the following:

• Previous experience in retail or customer service roles is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
